The SENET 2005 is a special event dedicated to sensors networks and their affinity with ad hoc networks. SENET is technically co-sponsored by IEEE and IEE. SENET 2005 is organized by academic, research, and industrial societies. SENET 2005 will be held in Montreal, Canada, in the week of August 14, 2005. Montreal is the most European city in North America, where more than 100 foreign languages are currently spoken, French and English being the two federal official languages.

SENET series focuses on the design, methodologies, and mechanisms as well as challenges in sensor networks. Aspects on Ad Hoc networks pertaining to sensors networks are also the target.
