Workshop Proposal

General

The Advisory Committee is seeking Workshop Proposals on topics complementary to those of the main conference. The Workshop Chair(s) must prepare a specific Call for Papers and organize the Workshop Technical Program Committee (TPC). The IARIA organization will assist to finalize the logistics when located on IARIA's sites.

The workshop webpage can be hosted together with the main conference and handled by the conference webmasters. Alternatively, the Workshop Chairs can host the workshop webpage on a different server and the conference organizers will link to that page from the main conference site.

Proceedings will be published together with the main conference contributions. It is mandatory that the deadlines of the workshop match the deadlines of the main conference, as all papers of the conference and workshops will be published in the same Proceedings.

Registration, hotel booking, and other logistical services (e.g., publishing) will be handled by the organizers of the main conference.

Organization

Logistics

Once you start a workshop along with the conference, the subsequent editions go along with the same conference. The on site logistics and hosting are handled by IARIA logistics. Registration for the workshop is not separate; there is one registration for all co-located events. The deadline and procedures are exactly the same as the main conference to guarantee services.

Chairs

The chairs (and their committee) handle the selection of the papers. IARIA logistics might help in allotting paper reviews, when the site is hosted by IARIA servers/logistics. In general, when more than 12 papers registered (3 sessions of 4 papers each), one registration is waived.
