Dr. Ahmed Gomaa

Dr. Gomaa is an associate professor of operations and information management at the Kania School of Management. His research interest is geared toward using information systems in different domains to theoretically and practically solve existing problems. To achieve this, his publications are in the areas of business analytics, blockchain, sentiment analysis, text mining, and security.  As a Forty under 40 NJ Business Journal Award winner, he works closely with the industry. He currently serves as the Director of the Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Scranton.  Dr. Gomaa earned a Bachelor degree in Accounting and a master degree in Financial information systems from Alexandria University, Egypt. He earned his MBA and Ph.D. from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
