Agenda:

• ACHI became a very attractive event with a good mix of advanced interface approaches.
• The tutorial presented by Jason Chong Lee and Scott McCrickard was excellently positioned for these new approaches.

• The Poster session was very well received.
• The procedure of invitation-only for extended versions of selected papers among those presented for on-line IARIA journals, with no additional fees, was appreciated.

Suggestions:

• Most off-line suggestions from John Rankin, Cynthia Y. Lester, Alexandru Patriciu, Les Miller, Silvana Roncagliolo; apparently the ACHI topics are well balanced and representative.
• More dissemination for special advanced interfaces (with robots, with agents, organic, haptic, for elderly, etc.) is needed, as the selection was not at a critical mass for these research and industrial areas.
• Suggestions are always welcome at petre@iaria.org

Next steps:

• Extend and enforce dissemination of the CfP, especially on the above mentioned topics
• Extend invitations to committee membership

ACHI 2010:

• Announce the new topics with the CfP for ACHI 2010
• Location: yet to be defined, most probably in Caribbean area, February-March 2010
• Under Digital World 2010
