This work group is intended for academic and industry professionals interested in the topic of the group.

In order to participate in this group, you can register using the "Register now" link on the left. Once you submit your information, the group chair or administrator will approve your registration.

By logging in, you will have access to the environment that was put together for this group. It consists of a forum (very similar to phpBB) and a document control system. More modules can be added later if deemed useful by the work group members.

Welcome to the IARIA Autonomic and Autonomous Systems Work Group.

The IARIA Working Groups [WG] are organized and function as specified at http://www.iaria.org/workgroups.html

Every WG has a specific charter as defined by the Chair and the WG members.

The generic charter which is valid for every IARIA WG is:

The WG focuses on advanced topics in the WG area of expertise to identify, position and explore challenging solutions, theories and technologies.

The expected results of an WG is to:

Topics:
- Scientific debate on challenging topics
- Form virtual group of interests and cross-organization cooperation
- Publish or point to specific documents, white papers, latest results

Conference:
- Identify Chairs and Special Area Chairs for the coming conferences
- Identify new members for the conference-related committees
- Identify new topics to be captured in the Call for Papers
- Suggest special 'satellite' workshops on complementary topics
- Suggest special sessions for the appropriate conference

On-line journals
- Identify editorial board membres for the on-line journals
- Contribute in selecting the best papers in IARIA conferences to be invited for journal publication

Cooperation
- With other IARIA groups
- With similar groups from other organizations in sharing common scientific interests
