Dr. Mattias Wahde

Dr. Mattias Wahde is currently professor of applied artificial intelligence at Chalmers University of Technology in Göteborg, Sweden, where he leads the Adaptive systems group.

He got is PhD in theoretical astrophysics in 1997, and has worked in several fields, including astrophysics, bioinformatics, robotics, and vehicle engineering.  His current research interests include applications of stochastic optimization algorithms, decision-making in autonomous robots, and human-robot interaction. Prof. Wahde also teaches courses in stochastic optimization and autonomous agents.
