Dipl. Ing. Arndt Steinke

Dimp. Ing. Arndt Steinke was born on September 4th, 1949. He received his Diploma in Microelectronic Technology from the Technical University Ilmenau in 1972. He joined Funkwerk Erfurt in 1972 as a research engineer, later as project manager in the department Research and Development of microelectronic technologies. Between 1977 and 1989 he held various leading positions in R& D in CMOS- wafer processing at the centre for development of the Kombinat Mikroelektronik Erfurt. As of 1990 Mr. Steinke was project leader responsible for development and public relations at CiS (Centre for Intelligent Sensorics). In 1992, he was founding member of the Förderverein Centrum für intelligente Sensorik e.V. and member of the board. From 1993 as development manager for micro sensors and systems, he was also responsible for the acquisition of new markets in the field of micro-electro-mechanical sensors and micro-optical-electromechanical sensors. Since 1999 he is responsible for development and technology at CiS Forschungsinstitut für Mikrosensorik und Photovoltaik GmbH in Erfurt/Germany. In January 2014 he took over the position of strategic marketing.

In addition to his membership in regional and national committees and specialist bodies, Mr. Steinke is a member of the board of the FMS Forschungsgesellschaft für Messtechnik, Sensorik und Medizintechnik e.V. Dresden.
